About Cole Davies

Cole Davies is one of the most exciting young talents in Supercross and Motocross, hailing from Waitoki, New Zealand. Born on August 28, 2007, Davies has quickly established himself as a rider to watch through a combination of natural speed, composure, and relentless work ethic. Mentored by former World Champion Ben Townley, Cole has built a strong technical foundation and race mentality that has carried him from national success in New Zealand to the highest level of the sport in the United States.
Davies first made waves at home by claiming double titles at the 2022 New Zealand Junior Motocross Championship. In 2023, he relocated to the United States to pursue his professional ambitions, competing in the Supercross Futures program where his performances immediately stood out. His breakout year came in 2024, highlighted by a win at the Anaheim 2 Futures round and a second victory at the championship-deciding Salt Lake City round, earning him the 2024 AMA Supercross Futures National Championship.
Following his amateur success, Davies signed a multi-year contract with Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing and made his professional debut during the 2025 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season. He delivered an outstanding rookie campaign in the 250SX West Championship, recording multiple podium finishes, two race wins, and ultimately earning Rookie of the Year honors while finishing third overall in the championship standings. He later transitioned into Pro Motocross and the SuperMotocross Playoffs, gaining valuable experience and showing front-running speed despite being sidelined earlier in the year with injury.
As he prepares for the 2026 season, Cole Davies continues to focus on long-term development, consistency, and growth at the professional level. With a rapidly expanding global fanbase and a grounded approach to racing, he represents the next generation of elite Supercross and Motocross athletes emerging from New Zealand.
