A wild night at Arlington and my first main event Win

Dallas was a wild one. It had its highs and lows, but I’m pumped to come away with my first main event win and more experience under my belt. Nights like these are all part of the learning curve.

The day started great. I was feeling comfortable on the bike and managed to qualify P1, fastest overall, which was a big moment for me. First gate drop in the mains, I was running inside the top six but got shuffled back a bit. I kept charging and finished fourth, helping the team lock out the top four, which was pretty cool.

The second main didn’t go to plan. I got a good jump but got clipped in the first corner and went down. I worked my way back through the pack and was up to 11th, then had another crash which really set me back. I ended up 17th and was feeling a bit banged up after that one.

Heading into the third main, I knew I had to reset. I was all the way out on the 17th gate pick, but I managed to pull a solid start and came out third. From there, I made a couple of moves, took the lead on Lap 4, and just focused on clean laps to bring home my first win in a main event.

Seventh overall wasn’t the result we wanted, but I’m proud of how we finished the night. We’re sitting third in the championship now, and I’m motivated to keep building. Looking forward to getting back after it in Indy.
