4th Overall at Hangtown β A Moto Win but Left Wanting More
Mixed feelings about Hangtown. A moto win is always something to be stoked about, but walking away 4th overall when the podium was right there stings a little. That's racing though.

Qualifying I went 4th quickest again β track felt good and the pace was there from the start.
Moto 1 I got a great start, 2nd off the line and feeling good early. Went down midway through the first lap which was gutting. Got up quick but the damage was done. Spent the rest of the moto trying to claw back but couldn't quite string it together. Finished 11th. Frustrating one.

Moto 2 there was a big crash off the start. I managed to stay out of it which was great. Found myself in 2nd and got into the lead pretty quickly from there. Once I was out front I just locked in and didn't look back. The pace was heaps strong β fastest lap, fastest average lap, best segment times in the first three sectors. Built a 9.337 second margin of victory which was the biggest of any moto in the class this season. That one felt good.

Moto 2 was about as close to a perfect moto as I've had β dominant from start to finish and my second career moto win in just eight individual moto starts. The 11-1 scorecard is the honest story of the day though. Moto 1 hurt the overall and that's the one to fix. The speed is clearly there, it's just about keeping it clean across both motos.

On to Thunder Valley β the goal is a clean day from start to finish.
