Back on the Gate at Unadilla!

Back on the Gate at Unadilla!

It feels great to finally be back behind the gate again. This past weekend at Unadilla marked my Pro Motocross debut and my first race back since breaking my humerus at the Supercross season finale. It’s been a long road getting back to this point, so just lining up and getting that first gate drop under my belt was a big step forward.

In Moto 1 I went down after a decent start and found myself way back in 30th after the first lap, which wasn’t the position I was hoping for, but I kept charging and worked my way to 23rd at the checkered flag.

Moto 2 was a bit better off the start, and I was sitting 16th after the opening lap. Unfortunately, I wasn’t able to hang onto that spot and ended up finishing 23rd again, which gave me 26th overall on the day. Not the results we’re aiming for, but every lap right now is about building back my race fitness and getting comfortable again at this level.

Leaving Unadilla healthy, and now the focus shifts to Budds Creek. Eager to keep making progress each week, and I’m thankful for the support from Swannie, the entire Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing Team, and everyone who’s been in my corner during this recovery. The journey is just getting started, and I’m ready to keep pushing.
