Back-to-Back Wins in Philly

Back-to-Back Wins in Philly

Philly was another amazing night. To get my second win in a row and do it at an East-West Showdown makes it even more special. The conditions were tough with the weather, but I felt strong all day and was able to ride my race when it counted.

The rain made the track pretty tricky again, but I got into a groove early and qualified third. In the heat race, I pulled the holeshot and led most of the way before Haiden (Deegan) got by me in the final laps. Still, I felt good and knew I had the pace going into the main.

After the restart in the main event, I came through in fourth and just started picking guys off. It was a tight battle up front, but I made some quick moves and got into the lead by Lap 6. From there, I just focused on clean laps and hitting my marks. I was able to build a gap and ride it home for the win.

Winning an East-West Showdown in my rookie year is something I’m super proud of. I’ve now moved into second in the 250SX West standings, and there’s still more to chase. Big thanks to the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing crew for the support - the bike was unreal again.

We’re heading in the right direction and the goal stays the same. Back to work this week to keep this momentum rolling.
