My first career overall win at Seattle

What a night in Seattle. To grab my first 250 Supercross win in front of an awesome crowd at Lumen Field was unreal. It’s something I’ve dreamed about for years, and to make it happen in my rookie season means a lot.

The day didn’t exactly start the way I wanted. With the rain and a delayed schedule, we only had two short qualifying sessions, and I ended up 11th. Not ideal, but once the gate dropped for racing, everything turned around.

In the heat race, I got a great jump and took the lead early. I stayed calm, rode my lines, and held strong under pressure to get my first heat race win of the night. That gave me a boost heading into the main.

I pulled the holeshot in the main and although I got passed on the first lap, I stayed focused and took the lead back on Lap 2. From there, I just tried to hit my marks, build a gap, and ride smart. I managed to stretch it out and take the win by over seven seconds - an amazing feeling.

I’m still sitting third in the championship, just six points off second and 20 behind the lead. There’s still a lot of racing left, and I’m fired up to keep building on this.

Big thanks to the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing crew and everyone backing me. We’re not done yet.
