Podium to Kick Off the Outdoor Season at Fox Raceway
Wrapped up the season opener of the Pro Motocross Championship with a podium. It wasn't perfect, but starting the outdoor season with a 3rd overall is a solid foundation to build on.
Qualifying was decent - the first session was rocked but we managed to find our groove in the second session to finish 4th in combined times. Good spot to be, the track felt comfortable and it set the tone for a confident day.

Moto 1 I came out of the gate in 10th but was already pushing forward by the end of lap one, working my way up to 6th. From there, it was a matter of being patient and picking my moments. Got past Gordon, then Dudney, then Romano with about seven minutes left to grab 3rd. Romano started reeling me in those last couple of laps which kept me honest, but I held it together and crossed the line 3rd. Felt pretty good.

Moto 2 the start wasn't quite where I wanted it. Found myself in 9th and had to get to work early. Made some good moves to get into 5th but couldn't quite hold it together in the back half and faded back to 8th. Was struggling at the end of that one β not the finish I was after.

Moto 1 showed what's possible when things click. We managed to keep moving forward; the pace was there, and I was racing with confidence. Moto 2 is the stuff to work on. I made a few mistakes, so I have my work cut out for me going into next week. No excuses, just stuff to fix.

On to Round 2 β the goal is simple: be more consistent across both motos.
Thanks to everyone supporting from back home and trackside. A podium to open the season is a decent way to start. More to come.
